Shine Awn started in 1992 as an awning cleaning business. However, the demand for quality manufacture, care and maintenance of awnings quickly grew our business into one of Chicagolands only full service awning companies. We offer experienced manufacturing of custom awnings, canopies, winter vestibules and other external cover solutions. We are committed to providing quality services to our customers.
We manufacture our awnings in our facility in Berwyn, Illinois using the highest quality fabric and materials from reputable companies. We use our experience and expertise to guide our customers through the design process. We can assist in the selection of appropriate fabrics and colors. We also offer graphic services with computer generated images of what your new awning will look like at your location.
Shine Awn is an active and proud member of the IFAI (Industrial Fabric Association International) and PAMA (Professional Awning Manufacturing Association).
Our Process
In-Home/Business Consultation
In order to understand how the awning will be seen and used, we visit you at your home or business and talk with you about what kind of awning you would like to have. We also offer our suggestions based on years of experience on what might work best for you .
Renderings/Mockup
We utilize state of the art software that allows us to superimpose your design idea onto a photo of your property so that you can see the design before going into production. Color choices and design can easily be modified so that you are guaranteed to be happy with your final decisions.
Manufacturing and Installation
After the design process is complete, awnings go into production with welding of frames. We use Steel Stitch aluminum to create the frame. All of our awnings are sewn in our shop by our experienced sewer. If applicable, graphics are either painted on or applied in sticker form.
Our experienced professionals install the awning safely and securely.
